Meticulous
Philip was the kindest, most professional and meticulous photographer we could ever have asked for! The shots he created for us are nothing short of perfect and he understood the brief and energy of the day 100%. We are so grateful that we got to have him as part of our Wedding Day. Philip also read the changing weather perfectly to capture the Wedding without dampening the mood (literally)! Great Memories
I found Philip on Instagram and we immediately fell in love with his photos of our venue. From the first email, he was professional, helpful, and replied promptly. At our first meeting it was clear he had vast experience and provided us with all the information we needed.
On our engagement shoot he made us both feel very comfortable in front of the camera and at the subsequent planning meeting it became evident how much thought he puts into every wedding he shoots. We discussed at some length where to have group photos taking into account the sun direction at the time of day and all sorts of other factors.
On the morning of our wedding he immediately fitted in and calmly went about taking photos both of us and significant items in an inobtrusive way. At the venue, Philip went above and beyond the role of a photographer, helping to make sure people were in the right places at the right time, and even darting off to find a knife for us to cut our cake. Philip has a great sense of humour, which shone through on the wedding day, from joking with the bridesmaids to accepting being called the wrong name by another supplier (Philip being too polite to correct them), creating great memories and an in-joke between him and us in the bridal party. It hadn’t occurred to either of us until after our wedding just how central to the day your wedding photographer is and we realised then how fortunate we were to have Philip.
Crucially, the photos that he and his colleague, Tom, shot are beautiful! Following the wedding Philip got our finished photos to us very quickly and has been great providing a few different edits and even photoshopping some unwanted details out. We’ve had a lot of compliments from family members and friends.
We couldn’t be happier both with the photos and service we’ve received and thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for (in our humble opinion) the best wedding photographer you could have.
Awesome shots
Myself and now wife hired Philip to do our wedding photography, simply put it was one of the best decisions we made. Philip was very responsive and he kept in contact with us throughout our engagement via meetings in person and on zoom, as well as emailing back and forth, he was always very helpful and seem to understand the sort of thing we were looking for, even coming up with several ideas for photoshoots on the day, including a dusk shoot that have some awesome shots in. On the day itself he was extremely professional and seemed to be very well organized and flexible, He was brilliant with our guests, even the children, and was great at organising positions for the photos and the pictures speak for themselves as they came out amazing! We had so many fantastic shots, It has been extremely difficult to decide which ones we want displayed in our home. Philip was well worth every penny and we would certainly hire him again for any big events and recommend him to everyone we know.

What can i say abut Phil, apart from that we LOVED him. We where the unlucky ones who had to move their wedding 3 times, but it was definitely worth it!
My husband HATES having his photo taken but Phil managed to get so many nice "natural" photos of him, along with everyone else, and my hubby, didn't even notice :)
Phil's eye for detail is amazing and the "golden hour" photos are incredible. We where very lucky with the weather and the locations and Phil captured everything and more!
Phil is such a nice person to work with and he is so much fun! He learnt everyone's names, was great with the young bridesmaids while the rest of the bridle party was running around like nutters. AND he almost fell out of my husbands Landover and was still smiling, sorry about that.
AND you must get the photo booth!

Incredible
Phillip was an incredible photographer for our wedding and captured beautiful photos! He also took photos of parts of the day that were really meaningful but I hadn’t told him of previously, as he is so attentive and is always looking to capture the important moments. Phillip was able to blend in with the day so well and was so efficient as we didn’t have as much time as we’d have liked for photos, yet we got so many and all of them incredible. We now have treasured photos of such an amazing day, we couldn’t recommend him more.

Phil is fantastic. We used him based on a few recommendations and seeing him in action at my sister in law's wedding. At both weddings he was so friendly and worked with guests really well to help the day go smoothly. The photography is amazing, and we are so thrilled with our photo albums, the Go Book and two smaller ones for our parents. The process is also very well organised, Phil is very easy to work with, and also prompt to reply. The photo booth is such an easy and great addition too! Thank you so much Phil!

Proactive
We booked Philip as our wedding photographer and from the start he came across as professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the different style of photos that would work for our venue and surrounding area and the best time to take certain photos due to natural lighting. He took the time to listen to what photos and styles we wanted. On the day, he blended in with the rest of the wedding party (even wearing our wedding colours) and captured some fantastic candid shots. On the build up to the wedding, Philip was proactive in contacting us to understand all the details of our wedding from colour scheme, timings and decorations so he could pre plan all photos which meant the day ran smoothly. He ensured that everything was in place and finalised for the day and we were comfortable that we had everything we needed from him. The final version of the photos were available quicker than expected and we couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out. We would highly recommend Philip if you are looking to hire a photographer.
Wonderful Experience
We had a wonderful experience with Philip as our wedding photographer. He was very understanding and guided us through three COVID postponements, including the final one at two weeks' notice. He was assuring in the build-up to the day, fully professional in his communication and organisation, and his instruction was effective yet reassuring for us and all our guests. The shots he took really captured our special day and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. We were impressed by the quick turnaround in providing the pictures. The USB presentation box was really impressive. We wholeheartedly recommend Philip!

Incredible Photographer
Philip is an incredible photographer. His relaxed style really made us at ease throughout the wedding and the photos looked excellent. He has an incredible eye and attention to detail, and yet managed to blend seamlessly into the background. Very, Very Happy
To say that we were happy with Phil as our wedding photographer would be a massive understatement.
From the first moment we contacted him and let him know that we needed a photographer, Phil has been meticulous with details, quick to respond to all enquiries, and in plenty of detail, and always prepared to offer suggestions that will enhance the final product.
In the lead up to the wedding, Phil asked for lots of details, which we were happy to provide. This gave us a sense of trust in him, in anticipation that the care he dedicates to his paperwork is replicated in his photographs.
On the day, Phil got the balance between being assertive enough to make sure he got the perfect photographs, and discreet when we were letting our hair down, perfectly.
We sat with a glass of wine and amongst friends to view our photos for the first time the other night, and it was quite an emotional experience. My wife and I are demanding people, who have a high attention to detail, and we said that these were the best wedding photographs that we have seen.

Booking Philip was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are truly blown away by Philip's stunning photos (and I usually hide from cameras). He gave us a fantastic mix of spontaneous IRT photos of our friends and family enjoying the day, editorial style photos, formal group photos, and all the key wedding moments from the day. Philip met with us a few times before the wedding to identify key details, moments, and spaces we wanted to capture, but also artfully directed us on the day to the best shots. Philip interacted wonderfully with our guests - even allowing my little nephew to help (he's truly fantastic with children). After the wedding, we received a USB of all the photos from the day with a few prints, and a number of amazing shots online - all of which we will treasure. We hope to book Philip's photography services again for big events in our family's future.
Absolutely Brilliant
Philip was absolutely brilliant for our Wedding in July 2023, from start to finish. We were planning our event from abroad, and he was very flexible at arranging online calls to suit our timezone, and was very responsive when we asked any questions. In the few weeks before the wedding, Philip was really good at getting us organised - making sure we knew who we wanted in a set number of group photos, going through the plan of the day, making sure that he knew the layout of the venue and surrounds, etc. He made us feel very confident that the day would go well - which it did! On the day itself, Philip was unbelievably professional and organised. He'd been in touch with the venue beforehand and worked very well alongside their staff to get some amazing photos, without being at all obtrusive or in-your-face. He guided group photos very well, and took some gorgeous candid photos of us and the guests. He was also just a genuinely friendly guy that you didn't mind sharing your day with. His photos were superb, and a really lovely set of memories which we will cherish for a very long time.
Completely At Ease
I cannot fault Philip - he was just brilliant from start to finish. From all of our initial consultations right through to the big day he was unfalteringly professional and thorough, while also putting us completely at ease and listening carefully to what we wanted from our wedding photography. Philip's preparation ahead of the wedding meant we were able to make the most of our time on the day, although he also stayed flexible and accommodated a fair few last minute photo requests on the day! His calm, unobtrusive and relaxed demeanour meant that all our couple's photo sessions felt like special, intimate moments for us to take stock and really be in the moment. The weather was very changeable on the day but nothing fazed Philip who was always on the lookout for different spots to maximise the natural beauty of our venue and make the most of all the seasons we experienced! By the time we had finished tidying up the next morning Philip had already sent us a small selection of photographs, which were just beautiful. It was amazing to have a taster of what was to come, and sent to us so quickly. We're really excited to receive all the rest of our photos and relive the magic all over again.

"We found Philip when looking at tagged photos of our wedding venue on Instagram. Long and behold Philip appeared on there, with some stunning photos of a previous wedding, at our venue. We pretty much knew straight away that Philip held the vision we were seeking for our wedding day. Philip's business is meticulously set up from start to finish. His attention to detail was spot on and the little touches around the venue were emphasised brilliantly in the photos. Most Professional
When we envisaged a wedding photographer, we wanted someone who could capture all our unique quirks and allow us to be able to look back at photos and feel as if we were re-living the day all over again. It’s safe to say we found the perfect man for the job! As a keen photographer myself, when I first met Philip and saw his work I was inspired and could not wait to book him. From our original plan of getting married abroad post Brexit and with COVID-19 he was still very much willing to put everything in place to get there if he could. In the end he had to settle with Denbies Vineyard in Dorking. In typical British style the weather did not play ball at all, so everything we had in mind regarding the types of photos we could have had did not happen, yet somehow Philip managed to create a series of memories through pictures which made us forget all of that. On the day, he was patient and very flexible to the ever-changing situation and we could not be more grateful to him for having been a part of our day! We could not recommend him highly enough.

Just WOW
Phil was our wedding photographer for our original 2020 small wedding and our postponed wedding reception for 2021. From the first meeting he came across very professional and friendly and we could clearly tell how passionate he was about his job. He was very accommodating and supportive to our change of plans due to Covid, in which we ended up having a small ceremony with 15 guests. The photos from this day are incredible, and you can’t even tell that there were only 15 people! He is very skilled and knows exactly how to get the best shots. The photos were exactly what we wanted and couldn’t be more happy with them. He also recently photographed our postponed wedding reception with an assistant photographer, Lucille. Both Phil and Lucille did such an amazing job on the day and were really friendly to our guests. Everything was so smooth and you could hardly notice they were there (in a good way!) We had a ceilidh and Phil got properly stuck in and captured some fantastic action shots ha! But the golden hour photos are the highlight for me - just WOW. The fact that he incorporates this into the day schedule just goes to show how knowledgeable and passionate he is about getting the best shots. These photos are SO beautiful, and we had so much fun doing it! We also had a photo booth which was great fun - I’d definitely recommend. When he finished he came over to check if everything was ok and to make sure we had got everything we wanted before he said goodbye. We booked Philip as our Wedding Photographer after a recommendation from a friend. I cannot recommend Philip enough, He is absolutely brilliant at his Job. From start to finish Philip was extremely professional and has an amazing work ethic. He worked so hard to provide the best service and he did not disappoint. He ensured we had everything we needed on to the day and has an extremely relaxed personality with a great sense of humour. We’ve just had Phil do our wedding photography and we are so happy with our decision! Perfect Photographer
Phil was the most perfect photographer for our wedding day. He is so lovely, so professional and captured the mostly beautiful shots which will help us remember and look back on our day for years to come. It was lovely having an initial discussion with him over zoom to discuss what we wanted and what sort of package he could put together for us. We also had an engagement shoot which I highly recommend as allows you to get used to having your picture taken and also get familiar with Phil before the wedding. The engagement shots alone were beautiful let alone the wedding. On wedding day, Phil arrived promptly capturing all the perfect shots. It was a good balance of candid/ natural photos and posed photos. The delivery of the photos was very quick and arrived in a beautiful wooden box. Professional, flexible
Philip was professional, flexible and thoughtful throughout our experience with him. A lockdown wedding was not what we had planned but Philip enabled us to split our package with him to also cover our wedding celebration once the restrictions were lifted. He has produced such a beautiful photo book which holds precious memories of our weddings. His experience and creative eye was hugely welcome yet not overpowering. He listened to our ideas and made them reality whilst always marking us feel like valued customers. Philip was patient with us throughout and we would recommend him to anyone.

Amazing!
Phillip was with us for our wedding in Woodland Park, Cobham in August. He was incredible to work with before and on the day, fluid and happy to go with the flow. The guests on the day commented about how great he was, and the photos we received after were amazing!

So if you're reading this review you're probably thinking, is Phil a "good photographer". The answer is a resounding yes! He's not just good, he's BRILLIANT. From meeting face to face and discussing our plans (we prepared our wedding in 9 weeks btw), to having a great system to log what we wanted, to great communication throughout the process. On the day, Phil was outstanding, professional and we couldn't of wished for more. Genuinely, this should be the last review you need to see as all I can see is - go for Phil!
Fantastic Photographer
We accidentally stumbled across Philip as our planned photographer (who we knew from a previous project) unfortunately tested positive with Covid a week before our wedding. She kindly recommended Philip and I can honestly say we were very lucky that he was able to squeeze our day into his schedule. We had a week to get to know one another and for him to research our style of wedding. He was engaged, professional, friendly and the photos we have received from our day is above our expectations. We had a number of our guests get in touch after the wedding and they all mentioned Philip and how he great he was with everyone and how he made it fun. He was also very good with our two young children. We really are very happy with what he has captured and most definitely would use him again and highly recommend him. He won’t disappoint.
Impressive
After speaking to several of the local photographers and not really getting a right vibes, we approached Phillip as we liked impressive portfolio and were so glad we did. When we met with Phillip everything just felt right. Phillip was friendly, helpful and professional. We agreed our package and were all set for our big day. Then along came Covid! Despite having to rearrange 3 times, Phillip was flexible and understanding, even honouring the price despite the wedding being 18 months later. This took one of the additional stresses of rearranging out of the equation. When the day came Phillip was great to have around, appearing to be able to be in the right place to capture those special moments without being a distraction and everyone present felt at ease. His ability to just get on with it and capture the special moments while making sure we had all the photos we had asked was exceptional. A truly talented photographer producing stunning results. Brilliant
Philip was brilliant from start to finish. We had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and Philip was very understanding and flexible. He was luckily available on our new date. We had 1 face to face meeting at the venue to go over the initial details. We then had a second meeting via zoom 6 weeks before the wedding. We were able to get down all the details and photos we wanted for the day. Philip gave us suggestions which was a great help. Philip then contacted us via email to summarise everything we went through. The wedding day. Philip turned up and just got on with the photos. It was great as I could just relax and get on with getting ready. He toke control throughout the day with the group photos and family photos. We needed this massively. He honestly was brilliant from the get go. The photos are absolutely beautiful and he captured every moment perfectly. We have just received our USB with all our photos. It came in a lovely wooden box with prints and a note from Philip. I highly recommend.

Phillip is a highly professional photographer. Responsive, patient, understanding, and talented. Phillip not only took beautiful photos of our day, but we so brilliant and rapid before and after the night. Couldn't recommend him enough.

"Definitely recommend Phil for wedding photography. Our wedding was due to take place in April, but do to Coronavirus, that was not possible so we brought it forward to the day before the UK shut its pubs. Professionalism and Informality
We can’t recommend Phil's wedding photography highly enough. Outstanding
Philip is an absolutely awesome guy. He was with us from about 10.45am until 9pm (I think). He had such a calming, chilled way about him which made us feel at ease with having photos done. Just from seeing our previews I know we are going to have some absolutely outstanding photos to help remind us of our incredible day. Reliable
Phil is a hugely talented, reliable and organised professional, but perhaps most of all a great guy. He was one of the first people we discussed our wedding plans with, and his wealth of experience played a huge part not just in our wedding photographs (which are better than we could have ever imagined!), but in the planning and execution of almost every aspect of our big day. From day one of our wedding planning onward, Phil went considerably out of his way to 'be there' for us when we needed. Always amazingly fast to reply to our many questions, he was the calming voice of reason both before but especially during our ceremony and reception. In fact on the day itself, Phil ended up effectively taking on the role of our event organiser when we realised (surprise surprise) that yes, we were going to be too busy to coordinate five different contractors and 100 guests ourselves. This would have been impressive enough, but most of all we have been blown away by the quality of Phil's artwork. His photos are totally beautiful and unique, and we will forever cherish the images both Phil and his amazing assistant Gosia took of our family and friends. A few months on, we still look at them every day. Phil, thank you so much, you are utterly amazing and we couldn't recommend you highly enough to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Breathtaking
