Preview: Chris & Elizabeth’s countryside wedding in Waldron, East Sussex

I got carried away yesterday. The light was perfect all day, which is so rare and I think only happens for me once a year. And what a place for it to happen. Chris & Elizabeth got married at a small church in the village of Waldron near the Sussex/Kent border. The views are stunning and you can even see the South Downs from the hills surrounding the church and reception venue. I had an extremely helpful bridesmaid help me out with the veil for a couple of shots (thanks Caroline) and it was just such a fun day.

The reception was held at the Groom’s parents home with a small paddock where Hamish, this pony, came to say hello and was amazingly well behaved for photos.

We even got a break in the clouds or magic hour lighting (where the sun starts to set and the shadows become very long) to get some beautiful photos in the evening light and even a sunset shot.
