Sofie & Alan’s Brighton Town Hall and Seafront Wedding Photography
Brighton Seafront Wedding Photography with Sofie & Alan, who had a small ceremony in Brighton Town Hall, afterwhich, we walked through The Lanes to the Royal Pavilion Gardens for some group pictures in this famous Brighton landmark. The building itself is going under restoration work at the moment, so this entrance archway made for a nice alternative backdrop for this group photo with masks!
On our way to the Brighton Seafront for some wedding photography with the piers in the background, we stopped off in The Lanes for a few shots. It was very busy, (not like the last time!) but we had a small gap in the foot traffic to get a nice couple of shots in Meeting House Lane.
When Sofie had first mentioned to me about getting some photographs in the Brighton Lanes, I thought of this location, as it would probably be bit quieter. These couple of shots were taken next to the very small lane that runs through from Black Lion Street, Ship Street and Middle Street.
Shots at the Seafront
On to the seafront, where it was busiest, with lots of tourists and locals enjoying a pleasant stroll along the promenade. This small corner next to one of the ramps that runs down to the beach, was perfect for some more socially-distanced shots, and for me to be able to use both long and wide lenses to get the Brighton Palace Pier in the background.
On our way to their wedding reception at the Grand Hotel, I saw this opportunity for our final shot of the afternoon, with the West Pier in the background. Just look at that sky in the final shot using the wide angle. I was really lucky with some very soft light diffused through thin clouds, that were just taking on a lovely bit of colour
